Alleluia, Christ is risen! He is risen indeed, Alleluia!
We have just celebrated the life changing news that Jesus has conquered death and is alive forevermore!
Before Jesus went to the cross, He told his disciples:
In my Father’s house are many rooms…I am going there to prepare a place for you (John 14)
Here Jesus promises He is preparing a place for us in heaven, when there is no more death or mourning or crying or pain (Revelation 21).
In our Life Groups this term, we explore what Scripture has to tell us about heaven. As the study guide writer says: Forget fluffy clouds, floating figures and everything painted white – heaven is the throne room of God right now, and heaven is also the future new creation.
