Life Together

life togetherHave you ever thought ‘I don’t understand it!’ when trying to decipher the Bible? If so, you are definitely not alone. The Bible is not one book, but 66 individual books written by different authors, addressing different situations and written over many centuries in what today, we think of as the distant past.

So how do Christians claim that the Bible in its entirety is the Word of God and relevant for us today? And how can we unravel and understand what Christians teach if we want to know all that God is saying to us? Life Together is an opportunity to discover the answers to such questions.

On the first Sunday of each month (except August), join us as Rev Ray Porter and Dr Julie Robb unlock themes and important teaching from the Bible to help us navigate through life in the 21st century.

life together1In July, we will journey through the New Testament book of Colossians.

Wise words from Proverbs are our focus in October.

In November we find out about Hosea, the Old Testament Prophet of Unconditional Love.

We finish the year in December by learning about Joel and the World’s Greatest Fish Man (aka Jonah)
