Do penguins come to mind when prayer is mentioned to you?

Probably not, you may say. Yet the picture of Christians as penguins is important to St Mary’s, because it reminds us of the need to support and pray with each other and for each other. If we choose to be independently minded penguins and ‘go it alone’, it’s likely that life situations will overwhelm us and we will struggle more with life.
