Pastoral Visits

Pastoral Care Team – Called to Care

As a Christian community, we are called to share Christ’s love and compassion with everyone, whether that is as a friendly ‘good neighbour’ or as part of a formal church team.

At times of need, crisis, or giving thanks, our dedicated Pastoral Care team is available to care and to serve our church family and our parish community. All of our team offer care that is confidential and respectful of a person’s situation and for anyone requiring more formal help or counselling services such as debt or marriage counselling, details of how to access such help can be provided.

In our Pastoral Care we follow the example of Jesus:

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:3-5)”

The Pastoral Care Team offers care and assistance in the following ways:

  • the lonely
